A kettle derailing its coaches caused us to cut our trip short by yet another half an hour on an already fly-by trip.. still, in the pouring rain a lot of scratches were had... later 90029 took the tour back to Euston from Stafford once 66060 had done the honours from LM to Stafford. Saturday 6 June 2009: Took the Railtour into Long Marston from Worcester with 66060 on the front. I picked up the tour from Shrewsbury on the 10th, with 67028, Preston saw 37406/37670 put on the tour. 37406 failed and 66067 was put on the train at Carlisle to Mossend. At Mossend 66104 was put on the train and worked it to Fort William. 11th was Fort William - Mallaig with 37670/37401. 12th was Fort William - Oban with 37670/37401 13th was Fort William - Salisbury with 66104 to Preston where we then had 67028 back to Salisbury. Friday 10 April 2009: A four day 'landcruise'. I got round as the light was going so some photos were taken with flash and ISO1600 and manualledto an 5.6 and some post photography editting too but still, nice to see so many rateable buses in one place! The stage was 0.99km long. The Stage Winner was Sebastien Loeb taking the stage with a time of 56.5secs and an average speed of 63.1km/h. The entertainment acts included stunt people, Ford cars in history, pop band "The Saturdays" as well as Marcus Gronholm driving the new Ford Focus and chatting to the compere at the start. The rally itself didn't have the spotlight on so all photos are a tad dark but hey... Also, all photos were taken using my SLR and a 300mm zoom lens! Notes: This rally was won by Sebastien Loeb (Citroen) with Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford) in 2nd just 12.7secs behind with Dani Sordo taking (Citroen) 3rd Saturday 6 December 2008: Wales Rally GB Stage 15 was held at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. The stage was 0.99km long. The Stage Winner was Sebastien Loeb taking the stage with a time of 56.5secs and an average speed of 63.1km/h. The entertainment acts included stunt people, Ford cars in history, pop band "The Saturdays" as well as Marcus Gronholm driving the new Ford Focus and chatting to the compere at the start. The rally itself didn't have the spotlight on so all photos are a tad dark but hey... Also, all photos were taken using my SLR and a 300mm zoom lens! Notes: This rally was won by Sebastien Loeb (Citroen) with Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford) in 2nd just 12.7secs behind with Dani Sordo taking (Citroen) 3rd

Providing the shuttles was about 10 heritage buses which made it a bit more interesting too!
